Elder members of a family carry with them time-honored traditions, customs, ideals, and noble values that are integral to a community. They diligently transmit these traditions to the succeeding generations, playing a vital role in instilling moral values within families and fostering religious integrity in society. The untimely demise of these elders results in the loss of their invaluable wisdom, and in the absence of their guidance, the subsequent generation may stray from the path of virtue. Hence, Arjun advocated the preservation of the elder generation for the greater good.
एक परिवार के बुजुर्ग सदस्य अपने साथ समय-सम्मानित परंपराओं, रीति-रिवाजों, आदर्शों और महान मूल्यों को लेकर चलते हैं जो एक समुदाय के लिए अभिन्न अंग हैं। वे परिश्रमपूर्वक इन परंपराओं को आने वाली पीढ़ियों तक पहुंचाते हैं, परिवारों के भीतर नैतिक मूल्यों को स्थापित करने और समाज में धार्मिक अखंडता को बढ़ावा देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। इन बुजुर्गों के असामयिक निधन से उनके अमूल्य ज्ञान की हानि होती है और उनके मार्गदर्शन के अभाव में आने वाली पीढ़ी सद्गुण के मार्ग से भटक सकती है। इसलिए, अर्जुन ने व्यापक भलाई के लिए पुरानी पीढ़ी के संरक्षण की वकालत की।
