Remain steadfast in your duties, Arjun, letting go of attachment to success or failure. This state of equanimity is known as Yog.
The ability to embrace all circumstances with serene acceptance is highly commendable, termed as Yog or union with the Supreme by Shree Krishna. This equanimity arises from applying the wisdom of recognizing that our effort lies in our hands, not the results. By dedicating the results to the pleasure of God, we can calmly accept outcomes, whether they align with our expectations or not. Embracing both fame and infamy, success and failure, pleasure, and pain as God’s will fosters the equanimity described by Shree Krishna.
