If, on the other hand, you choose not to engage in this just conflict, forsaking your societal obligation and standing, it is inevitable that you will bear the consequences of wrongdoing.

If Arjun were to opt for retreat from the battlefield, not only would his standing diminish among the assembly of formidable warriors, but he would also face disparagement. Shree Krishna employs the term “nindataḥ,” signifying the act of vilification. “Avāchya vādān” implies the use of derogatory language, including terms like “Eunuch.” Arjun’s adversaries, such as Duryodhan, might resort to making unbecoming remarks about him, like, “Witness Arjun, the feeble one, fleeing from the fray, akin to a dog with its tail between its legs.” Shree Krishna emphasizes to Arjun that enduring such scorn would be profoundly painful for him.

ଯଦି ଅର୍ଜୁନ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକ୍ଷେତ୍ରରୁ ପଳାୟନ କରିବାକୁ ପସନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି, ତେବେ କେବଳ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କ ସଭା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ଥିତି ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ, ବରଂ ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅସନ୍ତୋଷର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହେବେ। ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣ “ନିନ୍ଦଟା term” ଶବ୍ଦକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ଅପମାନର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ସୂଚିତ କରେ | “Avāchya vādān” ଅପମାନଜନକ ଭାଷାର ବ୍ୟବହାରକୁ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ କରେ, “ଇଉନୁଚ୍” ପରି ଶବ୍ଦଗୁଡିକ | ଅର୍ଜୁନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ, ଯେପରିକି ଦୁର୍ଯ୍ୟୋଧନ, ତାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଅବିସ୍ମରଣୀୟ ମନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ଦେଇପାରନ୍ତି, ଯେପରିକି “ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଅର୍ଜୁନ, ଦୁର୍ବଳ, ଯୁଦ୍ଧରୁ ପଳାୟନ କରୁଥିବା କୁକୁର ପରି, ଗୋଡ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଲାଞ୍ଜ ଥିବା କୁକୁର ପରି।” ଶ୍ରୀ କୃଷ୍ଣ ଅର୍ଜୁନଙ୍କୁ ଜୋର ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏହିପରି ଅପମାନ ସହିବା ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଗଭୀର ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଦାୟକ ହେବ।
